The Tremere are the mages, they have two "spell" disiplines, including the almighty thamaturgy meaning they have a ton of useful abilities, but their only passive disipline is auspex, meaning they are decent in ranged combat, but you have to use their abilities to make up for your lack of good fighting abilities. Toreador are like Brujah for ranged weapons.Īll three of the above don't really have relevant weaknesses. Gangrel are similar, but they don't use weapons and they have some "spell" like abilities in animalism to shake things up a little. For Brujah just turn on your disiplines, and you're a melee god with whatever weapon you have. Brujah and Gangrel are both melee powerhouses. Nos can't really access large portions of the game. The Malks are fun, but until you get them it can be difficult to understand what your saying/what's going on, and when you do understand them they spoil the plot(by the dialog, the malk PC knows a lot about what's going on). I'd avoid Malk or Nos for your first playthrough.
